details.

Does QueueRyte need internet access to operate?

No. The kiosk owns ticket numbers and queue state, while the room display communicates directly with it. Local ticketing, printing and staff queue operations continue without the internet.

What happens during a Cloudflare or Wi-Fi outage?

The local queue continues. Monitoring uploads use bounded retries and can be retained for later delivery without delaying ticketing, printing or staff actions.

Does QueueRyte store patient information?

Ordinary ticketing does not require a patient account. QueueRyte telemetry contains anonymous ticket activity and device health—not patient names, clinical details or printed ticket text.

What can managers see remotely?

Authorised managers can review near-live waiting and longest-wait measures, tickets issued and completed, wait and service patterns, queue pressure, device health and alerts across permitted sites.

Does QueueRyte track individual staff?

No. QueueRyte does not identify staff or measure individual productivity. Its evidence is about anonymous queue flow, site-level patterns and device health.

Can the cloud control a kiosk or queue?

No. QueueRyte Cloud is monitoring-only. Cloud responses cannot issue tickets, advance a queue, operate a printer or change room behaviour.

What happens when a printer needs attention?

Paper-out prevents new printed tickets while existing service can continue. A detected open cover creates a prominent safety lock on both local displays until the printer reports it closed.

Can staff repeat a number?

A pure number-reannouncement control is in pilot development and will be described as generally available only after release verification.

Does QR validation prove a ticket was presented?

No. The local QR workflow is in pilot development. It checks a same-day issued ticket for one-time use, but it is not a cloud attendance, completion or no-show measure.

Is QueueRyte generally available?

Not yet. QueueRyte is a working local prototype in pilot preparation. Production cloud rollout, security hardening and field pilots remain before general availability.
